  1. Attach the V-shaped bar to the pulldown machine and adjust the weight.

  2. Sit on the machine with your knees under the pads and grasp the V-shaped bar with an overhand grip, slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.

  3. Pull the bar down towards your chest while keeping your elbows close to your sides.

  4. Pause briefly when the bar is at chest level, then slowly return it to the starting position with control.

  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

It's important to maintain proper form throughout the exercise. Keep your back straight, shoulders down and back, and avoid using momentum to pull the bar down. You should feel your lats working to pull the weight down and control the movement back up.
